SECURUS has been ranked as Number 9 for the Best Places to Work in PA for 2008. The awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first of its kind offered by a state in the country. The program is a public/private partnership of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and the Central Penn Business Journal. This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

SECURUS with 48 employees won this ranking within the medium size companies category. A recognition dinner and evening awards ceremony was held on December 2 at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center.
